PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO OTHERS WITH FURRY FRIENDS!
Let's talk about a natural way to prevent pesticides on your pet
The three most important things are Dog Food, Vaccinations and removing Pesticide Applications on your pet.
I am still reviewing dog food since there are over 10,000 products or more out there. Please understand that what I may suggest does not in any way say I am against veterianarians. I have my favorites as well. But like any doctor in human or animal practice keep the pharmaceutical companies in business because that is what they are taught to be good for you or your pet or NOT.
So today I am going to start with the pesticide applications you administer on your pet. Such as flea and tick products which are available in many forms, including:
- Shampoos
- Collars
- Dust-Powders
- Sprays
- Spot-on Products
- Chewables- OMG-you feed your dogs poison?
Then there is the mainenance of beautiful lawns, such as lawn products and chemical spraying which your pet walks on, rolls in and eats. The effects to all of the above and these are:
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Seizures
- Hyper-salvation
- Constricted pupils
- Increased heart rate
- Lack of concentration
- Respiratory failure
- Acting strange or agitated after you apply monthly flea and tick treatment
Spring will arrive faster than wer think and it will be time when the Frontline, K9, Advantage, Revolution, Nexgard and other companies will be pushing to administer on your pet. So what are the alternatives?
I have seen these companies make a "natural spot-on" using essential oils...that is awesome, however, look at the ingredients, they use oils you should avoid using on any pet such as citronilla. Wow. Obviously they did not do their homework on what oils are safe for your pet. Unsure of what oils you should avoid?
Wash Dog Natural Soaps by Minocqua Soap Company where I worked with a soap maker to make my recipe dog soaps. I have used these soaps for 10 years now and the only thing I use for bathing my dogs. They have been affective preventing fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and flies. The soaps must be used more often in heavy season and infected areas. so bath every week to every two weeks in the summer months using WOODLANDS shampoo dog soap
Diane and I have joined together to make you the purrfect soap for flea and tick seasons. We have WOODLANDS, WINTER, ALLERGY, STINKY soaps that make your pets skin soft and moisturized. These keep the coats silky and shiny, relieving the dry dead skin seen most during the winter months. Plus, the benefit that you can use it on yourself as well. Just because it says dog soap, these soaps work super great for both human and animal. So WOODLANDS would make a perfect camp soap for all big and little campers. And WINTER will soothe that dry skin you may have. STINKY will rid of all smells the dog may roll in or sprayed on while it will also get rid of onion smell on our hands. Or just use it to smell great while conditioning the skin.
Did you know the more you bathe your dog, the more you won't worry about shedding or allergins. If the skin is conditioned, the hair won't shed as much. So a win-win situation.
The soaps are available in local stores as well: ONLINE HERE
